The Reverend Daniel Tamm

Board Chair

The Reverend Daniel Tamm is an ordained deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. He is president of Interfaith Solidarity Network, an organization of diverse spiritual communities whose mission is build relationships of mutuality and kinship. Deacon Tamm works extensively among coalitions for housing justice, climate action, and economic justice, including the countywide LA Faith Collaborative to End Homelessness, Our Future Los Angeles, Los Angeles Faith & Ecology Network, which he chairs, the Bishop’s Commission on Climate Change, which he co-chairs, the planning group of the Green Caucus of The Episcopal Church, and CLUE Justice. Daniel has facilitated spiritual practice and spiritual care, and pastoral care, at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills, and St. Michael’s Ministry Center in Riverside, CA. He serves as deacon for the Holy Nativity Parish in Westchester, Los Angeles.

Prior to ordination Daniel served in the administration of Mayor Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles as Interfaith Liaison, West Area Representative, and as Marketing Specialist for environmental services and practices.

Previous experience included a decade of political organizing, including the staff of Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. Before that Daniel enjoyed a career of creativity as an actor and director (mainly Off Broadway theatre in NYC).

He and his wife live in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles, and their musician son lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Doug Murrell, MPA

Board Vice Chair

Doug Murrell, MPA, is an experienced nonprofit and organizational leader with a career spanning healthcare, community engagement, organizational development, and mission-driven leadership. He currently serves as an Enterprise Administrator at Mayo Clinic, where he leads operations supporting community outreach and engagement, community-engaged research, and efforts to strengthen partnerships between researchers, healthcare institutions, and the communities they serve.

Throughout his career, Doug has held senior leadership roles across the nonprofit and public sectors, including service with the Center for Action and Contemplation and Habitat for Humanity. His leadership has focused on helping organizations translate mission and vision into strategy, build effective partnerships, strengthen organizational capacity, and create environments in which people and communities can meaningfully participate in shaping the work that affects them.

Doug brings a longstanding interest in the intersection of leadership, spirituality, community, and social impact. His background includes ministry and service with faith-based and contemplative organizations, experiences that continue to shape his commitment to thoughtful leadership, spiritual formation, and creating spaces for reflection and transformation.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Public Administration from Troy University. In addition to Stillpoint, he serves in several board and community leadership roles and is committed to supporting organizations that foster deeper connection, compassionate leadership, and meaningful engagement in the world.

Gerti Reagan Garner

Board Treasurer

Through most of Gerti’s adult life she has volunteered in some capacity at church. Over the last two plus decades much of that work was in leadership. That sparked a desire to deepen her faith and connection with the Divine. She was lucky to be in an environment that offered many opportunities to hear from teachers such as Richard Rohr, Diana Butler Bass, the Most Reverend Michael Curry and many more. The fruit of all this learning is the desire to enable others to find their path to the Divine.

Serving on the StillPoint Board of Directors is one way of fulfilling that desire. She is retired and brings a variety of skills. The majority of her career she and her husband owned a small employee benefit consulting firm, Garner Consulting, focusing on health and welfare plans. They worked with small and large clients including the State of Hawaii and Marriott. Four years before her retirement Garner Consulting merged with a larger brokerage firm. 

Prior to working at Garner Consulting, she worked at Transamerica Occidental Life as a claim examiner; Coopers & Lybrand, now PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a CPA; then a small HMO and a hospital as the Controller.

Sara Critchfield

Board Secretary

Sara Critchfield’s calling is to help build the spiritual foundation for a more loving world.

She holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate in the Art of Spiritual Direction from Stillpoint. Her career has spanned faith-based public policy advocacy, spiritual philanthropy, justice-centered social media, and interfaith organizing.

Most recently, as a founding member of the Coalition for Faith and Media, Sara spent years helping media organizations tell more fair and accurate stories about faith and spirituality—and using storytelling to expand public imagination for spiritual approaches to our most pressing social challenges.

Today, Sara’s spiritual direction practice focuses on young adults and caregivers for those with chronic illness. She is especially interested in the questions that emerge when our inherited beliefs, identities, and ways of living no longer quite fit—and we find ourselves called to embody our way into something deeper.

Based in Los Angeles, Sara loves endurance cycling, traveling the world to experience religious rituals and sacred sites, bingeing K-dramas, counseling at church camps, and writing whimsical things that bring a little more wonder into the world.

The Rev. Dr. Stacey Forte-Dupré

Board Member

The Rev. Dr. Stacey Forte-Dupré is an Episcopal priest, educator, and organizational leader whose work integrates spirituality, leadership development, and social justice. She is Priest-in-Charge of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Hemet, California (Diocese of San Diego), where she advances a ministry centered on belonging, dignity, and full participation, with particular attention to persons with disabilities.

Dr. Forte-Dupré brings to the board of Stillpoint Spirituality Center a depth of experience in both pastoral leadership and institutional strategy. Her vocation integrates theology, social work, and healthcare administration. She holds a Doctor of Healthcare Administration, a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Master’s degree in Social Agency Counseling.

Her professional background includes nearly two decades as a social worker with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, grounding her in the dynamics of institutional and family systems. This analytical formation informs her scholarship in womanist hermeneutics, disability theology, and structural ecclesiology, shaping a leadership approach that is both theologically rigorous and systemically grounded.

She is the founder of Blessability Advocacy, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to advancing disability incorporation, belonging, and leadership within communities of faith, and her broader work reflects a sustained commitment to integrating contemplative practice with accessible, justice-oriented ministry.

Ordained in 2023, Dr. Forte-Dupré has served in collaborative and congregational ministry across Southern California and holds leadership roles within Province VIII and the Union of Black Episcopalians.

As a board member of Stillpoint Spirituality Center, Dr. Forte-Dupré brings a strategic and pastoral lens to the Center’s mission, strengthening its capacity to serve as a leading center for spiritual renewal, inclusive formation, and transformative leadership within the Church and the wider community.

Dr. Yulee Lee

Board Member

Dr. Yulee Lee operates at the intersection of microenterprise and impact, wearing two primary hats: Chief Executive Officer in the nonprofit sector as the founding CEO of Khora Collective, a spacious place where Asian Americans can become leaders who use their power for the good of the whole kingdom, and Chief Operating Officer in the for-profit small business arena at Stuff You Can Use. In the small business space, she drives operational excellence, scalability, and performance optimization; in the nonprofit sphere, she sets strategic vision, stewards mission execution, and cultivates sustainable growth. Across both roles, she specializes in leadership—developing high-capacity teams, architecting resilient organizations, and aligning strategy with measurable results.

She is the author of Leading Change While Loving People and the forthcoming book Unmasking Toxic Leadership: How to Recognize, Resist, and Recover From Harmful Workplace Power Dynamics, slated for release by InterVarsity Press in the spring of 2027.

Her training runs along the same seams as her work. She holds a BA in political science from Tufts University, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and she is currently an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School—an education spanning public systems, theology, and business that mirrors the sectors she moves between.

Dr. Aisha Davis

Board Member

Dr. Aisha Davis, the Formation Architect, is a preacher, scholar-practitioner, and author whoworks at the intersection of theology, spiritual formation, and ministry innovation. She serves as Minister of Spiritual Formation and Assimilation at The Luke Church in Humble, Texas, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. Timothy Sloan.

Dr. Davis holds a Doctor of Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary, where she also earned her Master of Divinity, and a Bachelors degree in Communication from Dillard University (New Orleans). Her doctoral research introduced the concept of integration dissonance; examining holistic discipleship among Black millennial professionals. She founded Unity Research Group, LLC and Christ on Purpose, which serve persons across the U.S. She is the author of Closer to Jesus: A Lenten Journey and is currently writing her forthcoming book from InterVarsity Press, Soul Formation: Spiritual Practices Rooted in the African American Experience.

She enjoys preaching, teaching, spiritual formation, and spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.
