Sometimes we need a place to catch up with our souls’ yearning. A place to stop and linger to deeply listen. To hear with the ear of our heart, what our life wants us to know. Such opportunities allow us to reconnect with God and our own inner wisdom so we can see more clearly the path that is beckoning us. Stillpoint’s Spiritual Journey program is designed to help you practice listening deeply to God and your own inner wisdom within a small group community.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?
The Spiritual Journey is a program that supports you in your exploration of your personal spiritual life in a small group setting, deeply enriching your relationship with The Divine, others and recognizing the ways that God/Spirit is present and working in your life. A trained facilitator accompanies members in developing their skills in deep listening and personal discernment.
Here you can explore contemplative ways of paying attention to your life, cultivate awareness of how you respond to “The More” beckoning you to grow in self-understanding, sample varied forms of prayer and reflection, and experiment with new ways to uncover and converse about spiritual experiences.
You will be introduced to the deep and expansive practices of spiritual formation, the ancient practice of spiritual direction, and a process of discernment for the next steps in your spiritual journey.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Spiritual Journey Program is open to people of all denominations and faiths who are seeking to go deeper in their spiritual walk. Pilgrims on their own journey accompany and enrich our own journeys. We are rooted in the contemplative tradition and we welcome a diverse and inclusive learning community.
WHERE IS IT?
Stillpoint currently offers this program in two different formats. There is an 8-month program that meets once a month and a one-week residential intensive format during the summer at Ghost Ranch, New Mexico.

Wisdom in Practice is an enriching curated experience of learning from wisdom guides, transformational readings, small groups, and guided spiritual practices alongside a spiritual community. Since the program is “spiritual practice” oriented, you will be learning and trying new practices to ground and center your spiritual life. Most uniquely, you will attend Stillpoint’s One-Day retreats with your cohort and grow together in community through Wisdom Circles.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAM?
A unique nine-month cohort-based, practice-oriented intensification of your spiritual life, enriching your relationship with the Divine and helping you “go deeper” in community with others of similar intent. With expert teachers, fascinating topics, and solid mentors, this is your invitation to a deeper life and practice.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This program is open to people of all denominations and faiths who are seeking to go deeper in their spiritual walk. We are rooted in the contemplative tradition and welcome a diverse and inclusive learning community, including “spiritual independents,” seekers, and agnostics with no set faith tradition or beliefs.
The Wisdom in Practice program was originally designed with The Spiritual Journey program graduates and The Art of Spiritual Direction program graduates in mind that may desire an ongoing cohort experience.
WHERE IS IT?
This program is currently offered to those residing in Southern California. The cohort will attend all Stillpoint One-Day Retreats (locations TBD) and gather during the lunch break.
Additionally, you will meet with your Wisdom Circle via video chat between the retreat days. Groups will be led by a mentor.
