Where are you on your Spiritual Journey?
A New Offering: Eco Spiritual Journey Week at Ghost Ranch. This program is an introduction to contemplative practice and the spirituality of the earth where we will join the conversation of Holy Wild. This week creates the much-needed time and space for you to breathe, listen, and cultivate deeper meaning in your life. You will journey in the company of like-minded community under the guidance of seasoned staff from Stillpoint and the Center for Wild Spirituality, in collaboration with the wisdom of Earth in the ancient high desert landscape of northern New Mexico.
This small group retreat involves experiential ways of learning, using all your senses, emotions, and body, as well as your mind. The teaching comes in the form of guided contemplative experiences including wandering on the land, somatic exercises, deep personal reflection, and creative expression. Throughout this week, you will use these practices to explore your own particular calling and gifts and to reflect on how best to offer those gifts in service to the world.
In ancient Judeo-Christian stories, as well as those found in most other religious traditions, the call to leadership is always initiated by a call into the wilderness.
If you share a commitment to restore sacred relationship with Earth you have likely heard a call deep within you -- a call of the sacred wild -- to step into your particular place within this emerging (and yet ancient) worldview. You are not alone on this counter-cultural path.
You are invited to listen to the wind, the trees, the stars. To remember who you are and the role you are here to play in the ongoing evolution of life.
Accept this invitation to take time for spiritual nourishment, renewal, and deep exploration within the spectacular ancient landscape of Ghost Ranch. Come celebrate God’s creation and sacred community. You are most welcome.
This week is a collaboration with The Center for Wild Spirituality and can serve both as a prerequisite for Stillpoint’s Art of Spiritual Direction program and as an introduction to the Seminary of the Wild Earth and Eco Spiritual Director programs offered by The Center for Wild Spirituality.
