CLAIRE BERRY
Claire is a minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and a Stillpoint-trained spiritual director. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee and currently pastors a Presbyterian congregation in nearby Franklin. Prior to her current call, she served college students at Belmont and Vanderbilt Universities through a campus ministry called UKirk (“university church”), as well as parishes in Austin and Philadelphia. Claire sees individuals and groups for spiritual direction, and she also wraps spiritual direction into church work. She has a special passion for walking alongside people who are discovering their spirituality, deconstructing faith, or recovering from painful experiences of religion. When not doing ministry or providing spiritual accompaniment, Claire enjoys learning about Zen Buddhism and Jungian thought, singing and playing ukulele and piano, and spending time with her husband Mauro and two children, Teodoro (4y) and Lucía (1y).
