“The Celtic Way of Praying: A Way of Be-ing” with Carol Quinlivan

  • St. Matthews Episcopal Church 1031 Bienveneda Avenue Pacific Palisades, CA, 90272 United States (map)

The Celtic Christian propensity to find the Divine in all created nature speaks with uncanny relevance to the concerns of our present era.

Like the endlessly intertwining threads of the Celtic knot these ancient Christians experienced living and praying as inseparable, giving rise to a profound sense of belonging. The ancient wisdom, visual images, poetry, prayers, and blessings of Celtic spirituality take us beyond words to nourish our imagination and restore what we have neglected or forgotten. We re-discover the transformative power of becoming an Anam Cara, Soul-Friend, to ourselves and to those we meet on the road of life as we are transformed by the dynamic energy of our encircling God.
