POSTPONED

Just Another Step Along the Way:
Claiming What You've Already Become

with Stillpoint faculty and board member Ernie Tamminga, PhD

THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN POSTPONED. IT WILL NOT OCCUR DURING THE SUMMER OF 2010. PLEASE WATCH FOR FUTURE DETAILS!

This full-day workshop is for those whose spiritual lives are awakening into a widening context that lifts up the unique person while going far beyond individual development. We'll issue a gentle invitation to venture beyond what we thought were our boundaries. And we'll look at "symptoms" that tell us we've already begun responding to a calling we might not yet be able to articulate.

The workshop will be held in Santa Barbara, California.

Meeting at the Well: A Personal Encounter with the Divine.

with Stillpoint faculty member Karen Basquez

What does it mean to encounter the Holy? In many traditions a personal experience of the Divine is encouraged as a way to affirm the truth of our being. Stories can be the entry point for this encounter. Entering into the experience of a Sacred Story reveals that it is for us and about us. The 4th Chapter of John provides such a famous story. Encountering Jesus, as the Samaritan woman did at the well, can lead us into greater awareness of Truth. Jesus challenges each of us to ask questions about who we are and what our relationships mean. This half-day retreat moves one through the experiences of our daily suffering into the life abundant.

The workshop was held at All Saints Church in Pasadena, California
