  • "Choosing Life Over the Long Haul: An Ignatian Path" with Wilkie Au, PhD
    All day
    2016-11-12
St. Monica Catholic Community, California Avenue, Santa Monica, CA, United States

    Description

Debt, disease, divorce, death ... the difficulties we face in life take many forms. Discerning how to respond in times of crises -- or any painful situation we face -- is not an easy task. Challenging times often discourage us from saying “yes” to life, especially as we age and our losses keep piling up. Ignatian spirituality highlights the use of imagination in both discernment and prayer. It provides a practical path for living with hope, trust, patience, gratitude, and generosity. Join us for this retreat and discover helpful tools for dealing with your difficulties … in all seasons of life!
