The Art of Spiritual Direction

a training program for Spiritual Directors

The California program begins in September, and enrollment opens in March.  The Ghost Ranch program begins in November.

 

Stillpoint’s training program in The Art of Spiritual Direction is a two-year ecumenical program, rooted in the Christian tradition and open to all faiths.

 

Applicants to the program must have completed the Spiritual Exploration program or an equivalent, and must have been in spiritual direction for one year. Participants gain knowledge of, and guided experience in, accompanying other people on their spiritual journeys.

Each year of the California program consists of eleven full-day sessions, held one Saturday each month, beginning in September. The training includes guided practice in spiritual direction.

 

Fee: California Program - First year: $1,500

Includes all instruction, a full weekend residential retreat, personal mentoring, and all materials.

The 2010-2011 class begins on August 28, 2010..

Fee: California Program - Second year: $1,350

prerequisite: Art of Spiritual Direction, Year One

The fee includes all instruction, personal mentoring, all materials, and personal sessions with a staff supervisor. California classes begin in September of each year.
