| Stillpoint’s training program in The Art of Spiritual Direction is a two-year ecumenical program, rooted in the Christian tradition and open to all faiths. | |
Applicants to the program must have completed the Spiritual Exploration program or an equivalent, and must have been in spiritual direction for one year. Participants gain knowledge of, and guided experience in, accompanying other people on their spiritual journeys. |

Each year of the program consists of eleven full-day sessions, held one Saturday each month, beginning in August. The training includes guided practice in spiritual direction. |

Year-One sessions are held at La Casa de Maria Retreat Center in Santa Barbara, California, and at the Holy Spirit Retreat Center in Encino, California. Year Two sessions are held at various locations in southern California. |  |

Fee: First year: $1,250 Includes all instruction, a full weekend residential retreat, personal mentoring, and all materials.

Second year: $1,350 Includes all instruction, personal mentoring, all materials, and personal sessions with a staff supervisor. Applications for the second-year program are accepted from students who have completed the first-year program. You may also submit a request to be considered for the program if you have completed an equivalent program elsewhere.
